ABOUT ME

Or really, ABOUT HER, since it's written in the third person.

WORK EXPERIENCE
To support a financially devastating shoe habit, Natasha works as a copywriter at Draftfcb (formerly FCB). In her four years as a writer, she’s done work in a wide variety of categories, including Beauty (Nivea, Nivea for Men, Eucerin), Technology (CA, Motorola), Food & Beverage (Starbucks, Diet Coke, Oreo), and Travel (Jamaica Tourism Board). She also has a foosball shot named in her honor (the Matrix Reloaded).

Prior to her writing career, Natasha was a VP/Account Director, which means she knows things other creatives do not, such as how to wrangle clients, the ins and outs of strategy, and what the agency looks like at 9 am. She toiled at account work for seven long years, first at D’Arcy and then at FCB, and it is her second greatest regret that she didn’t make the switch to copywriting earlier.

EDUCATION
From 2000 - 2005, Natasha studied advertising at Adhouse NYC, under the tutelage of many advertising greats, including Greg DiNoto, Gerry Graf, and Jeff Kling. And apparently, she became quite the name-dropper in the process.

Before that, she attended Dartmouth College, where she was a Psychology major and Friendly’s waitress.

OTHER INTERESTS
Natasha watches the Daily Show daily, reads US Weekly weekly, and is actively plotting several dognappings. She coauthors a blog called I’ll Cut You, using the alias Diane Verenburg, and once fronted an all-girls band called, It’s Me, Margaret. She can do the Wednesday NY Times crossword.
